Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Doseo medication tracking application. These terms form a binding agreement between you and the Doseo team.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By downloading, installing, or using the Doseo application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Medical Disclaimer

  • Doseo is not a medical device and is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the instructions of your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider.
  • The AI-powered prescription extraction is provided for convenience only. It may produce errors, omissions, or misreadings. You are responsible for verifying all extracted medication information against your original prescription before confirming it in the app.
  • Missing a dose reminder or receiving an incorrect reminder from Doseo does not relieve you of responsibility for managing your own medication schedule. Do not rely solely on Doseo for critical medication management.
  • In case of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Doseo.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your password.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Notify us immediately at knoworg1@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Permitted Use

  • Doseo is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You may use the app to manage your own medications and, with their consent, medications for family members in your care.

5. Prohibited Uses

  • You may not use Doseo to: upload prescription images you are not authorised to process; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app; use the app in a way that could harm, disable, or impair our servers or other users; use automated scripts or bots to access the app; or violate any applicable law or regulation.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, design, code, and branding in Doseo — including the name, logo, and UI — are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • Your prescription images and medication data remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the service.

7. Third-Party Services

  • Doseo uses third-party services including Supabase (database and storage) and OpenRouter / Google Gemma (AI extraction). Your use of these services through Doseo is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
  • We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Doseo is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app — including any harm resulting from missed or incorrect medication reminders.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Doseo shall not exceed ₹500 (five hundred Indian rupees).

9. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.
  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at knoworg1@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
